~ The Wooded Way ~

Due to having been granted a stall at the EARTHFREQ FESTIVAL this coming weekend, I have had to move the date of our inaugural AGM back a week to the 24th November (same time, agenda, day of the week). My sincere apologies for the inconvenience, but the festival finishes Monday with the AGM originally acheduled for the following Wednesday, which just wasn't enough time to prepare. Yes, that's right ... THE WOODED WAY has finally reached a point where it needs to become a fully active body of like-minded people with a shared vision about how they want to live as part of the singular oneness of Gaia, the living Earth.

Membership of The Wooded Way online community now has over 20 members, with at least 7 living in The Northern Rivers region. There are  also another 11 members on the Eartheart Facebook page, plus countless others who have contacted me via email, phone and the markets over the years. As such, I am of the belief that if I now call a meeting to form The Wooded Way on a more formal basis, there should be enough members prepared to form a committee to get things rollin' along.

Please note, membership of THE WOODED WAY ASSOCIATION does NOT require or imply a commitment to buying shares or living in any proposed Wooded Way community. It simply denotes a general interest in, or support for the overall philosophies, aims and objectives of The Wooded Way.

So WHEN, WHERE and WHAT'S THE AGENDA?

Meeting opens with an introductory talk by Beau Ravn at 6.30pm

7.00pm: Call for general membership of the
WOODED WAY ASSOCIATION
Sign register of members

7.30pm: Nominations called for the executive of the
WOODED WAY ASSOCIATION - FOUNDATION COMMITTEE

8.00pm: Nominees give a brief introduction and background answering the question
"Why they feel they would be best suited to take on this role"

8.30pm: Vote on nominees to form FOUNDATION COMMITTEE
New Secretary to take over minutes

9.00pm: General discussion on initial direction, ideas and priorities over drinks and light snacks. Includes preferred titles, terms of reference and format for future meetings.

9.30pm: Set time and date for first COMMITTEE MEETING (all members welcome)

10.00pm - MEETING CLOSE
